8-10 minute Speedpainting by ANTIFAN-REAL 8-10 minute Speedpainting by ANTIFAN-REAL
I have a really blocked up nose (and therefore brain) today - so I did a quick sketch to try and loosen the old creativity - not sure it's worked though!

This image was painted in about 8 minutes - eight - so it's not my greatest work!

I hope you find it less than offensive! :)

Best,
G x

Love this!

Love speed paintings ... you get the inspiration and not the polish and very often that gives you the gems.

Only at minutes, you weren't at your best, and you were sick?! Dear God! I may have to give up making art forever if this is what i have to compete with!

It may not be your greatest work, but if this is you when you're not at your best I shudder to think of what you can make when you put your mind to it.

I don't know why people don't believe you did this in 8 mins. Judging by the rest of your work, you clearly are good enough to pull this off. Also you would have no reason to lie. Probably jealousy. So having said that I will wrap this up by saying, this is impressive, your work is great, you are much better than I, and you have another watch!

Amazing to see what can be done in such a short time! With just a few brushstrokes you've created a world, a mood, and some motion.

Why do artists keep saying "Not my greatest" yet stuff I've drawn don't even compare?

If you could JUST imply the whiteness of the distant
snow in that, you would have a perfect 3-D impressionist work.

I often prefer speedpaintings to finished pieces.
Speedpaintings always show so much more energy, raw skill, the immediate thoughts of the artist all laid down in a lovely rough concept.
Wonderful :D

Nothing wrong with eight minute doodles :D And hey, you've managed to establish a composition, you have a clear subject, there is scale and atmosphere and you're making the eyes travel :D So it's all there, isn't it?
