Could not get my head around my work this afternoon for a while so I took a break and painted this. Sometimes it's good to just change direction to reinvigorate yourself, back to work!. :)

35-40mins.

Good perspective, amazing how efficient you are with techniques. I am a big fan of the raised ground effects and the particular shading of the bluff faces. Effectively expressed both land and sky/clouds with the motion showing in the standard/flag that the rider is holding and the billowing clouds, right down to the wind scarred rock formations to provide a foreground anchor. I want to see what you can do on a project lasting longer than a days work :o

This caught my eye with its bold, bright colours. Reading your comment also brings up how sometimes, you just gotta do something a little less intense at times, perhaps a s a break from the major projects. And though the result may not be the artists best work, in some cases, less is more and they can be quite attention-grabbing peices

Are you ever going to make a tutorial? I mean, I just love your speed paitings, and I'm totally floored by the detail of the ground.

It would be really cool if you could show how you implement BG's and what kind of brushes you use and such.

Anyways, awesome painting. Can't believe you did it in some 40 minutes.
