Hey there :)

Just mucking around here - it's the same old story with this piece, 400m high spider mechs invade Earth, cause trouble, army try to stop them... ;)

Anyway, the image took about 70 minutes of badly drawn strokes and messing about - it's ok - more fun to paint than it is to look at to my eyes!

The Detail of the smaller spider is perfect. Any sharper and the contrast between the blur at the edges and the blurr at the center would be too big.
Plenty left to the viewer's immagination while showing enough detail to keep eyes focused and mind thinking about how it would look close up... Don't often see a picture that can trigger my immagination like that ;)
